“Be yourself; everyone else is already taken.” ~Oscar Wilde

“Has it really come down to that?” you ask.

“Do people really not know how to be themselves?”

Yes, is the answer.

Most people spend their lives on the run and try to be anything but themselves, and surround themselves with people who support that reality.

A lot of our society is built on changing something about ourselves.

Our weight, our hair color, our eyes, our nose, our accent, our race and everything under the sun.

It’s really no surprise that we now need a guide on how to be ourselves.

Unfortunately, a lot of us learned that we aren’t enough early on.

This is an absolute killer when it comes to personal branding, cause listen up, you’re all you’ve got.

If you try to be anything else but you it starts reeking of inauthenticity.

Are you keeping your customers waiting for superman?

When was the last time you made your customers cry?

Or better yet when was the last you HEARD your cutomers’ cry?

The truth is there are customers crying every single day and their cries are falling on deafs ears.

And here’s a couple more questions for you to chew on…

Are you your customers’ superhero?

Or are you just a superdud?

While watching the documentary film Waiting For Superman last night I was moved to tears.  The movie follows five kids who are in the failing public school system and their hope of going to a decent school is a lottery.  It’s pretty messed up to think that our public school system had deteriorated to the point where a bunch of balls with numbers on them are the only chances of a child getting a proper education.  Pretty grim, don’t you think?

Well, the truth is that some of your customers may be facing a similar grim fate.

Just like our children’s cry fall on deaf ears the same goes for your customers.  Frankly, many customers are Waiting For Superman, but little do they know Superman rarely ever comes.

The only way to find their Superman is to do what the kids and their families in the movie were forced to do – jump ship and do business with someone else.

Many business owners however, don’t know what their customers really want.  Maybe you’re one of them.

Well I think you should have a chance to reclaim your customers and be their superhero before your competitor does.  Unlike, some of these public schools there’s a chance for you to become your customers’ Superman.  It doesn’t matter how big or small you are, there is hope for everyone.

Here are the 25 ways to NEVER keep your customers waiting for Superman: [click to continue…]

Want to grow your blog?

I recently had a conversation with a friend of mine who is planning to launch a blog.  My friend is extremely talented and a blog would be a great way for her to share her knowledge.  She asked me if I could take a look at a few blogs that were in her niche and give her some advice.

As I was going through the short list of blogs I couldn’t help but shake my head (A LOT).  Let’s just say, I couldn’t believe what I was seeing.  This experience led me to ask, “Why do blogs fail?” I’ve heard various opinions on this topic, but frankly I wanted to come up with my own reason and it boiled down to one thing.
